JC Atkinson is launching, for the first time, a website dedicated to its popular Expressions range. Consumer facing, it will showcase the breadth of options available to those looking to personalise coffins and caskets.
Part of a wider brand refresh and evolution of product lines at the company, the website features all the ways in which JC Atkinson can now paint, print, wrap or engrave onto its most popular solid wood, oak veneer or MDF coffins.
The website is broken down into these four categories, but as each section demonstrates, many combinations of these are possible.
Painted
Customers often start with the Oxford Coffin and its oak-style veneer as a base and either choose from pre-painted colours white, green, red and blue or, for a more customised approach, select one of the 1,200 colours on offer from the Dulux range. The coffin comes in a plain finish or engraved with contrasting panel details in silver or gold.
Engraved
Favoured as an elegant way to add a personal message, logo, or icon to a coffin, letters in Times font or simple designs can be engraved on the sides or ends of the coffin. Enhancements like nickel or brass finishes are available for added contrast.
Printed
Using the latest in print technology, detailed and meaningful designs such as family photos, poems, illustrations, or team emblems can be directly printed onto the coffin’s oak veneer. The natural wood grain remains visible, adding to the coffin’s elegance. Wood effect paper is an option for those on a budget.
Glitter
For a bold send off, Glitter Coffins are available in nine vibrant colours in either a traditional style coffin or a modern English Made Coffin with its organic elliptical shape and delicate detailing. Made from MDF and covered with diamond glitter paper, these coffins feature a rich, textured surface that doesn’t shed. Choose from full glitter, glitter panels or printed glitter – for a picture coffin that shimmers.
